Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the inventory of available spaces, reservations, and assignments for RVs and yurts.
  • Handle same-day bookings, future reservations, and cancellations efficiently.
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of site and yurt locations, types of accommodations, and current pricing.
  • Foster effective communication and relationships with all departments.
  • Check in arriving guests and allocate accommodations while addressing special requests when feasible.
  • Coordinate updates on yurt/RV pad statuses with housekeeping by informing them of check-outs, late check-outs, early check-ins, and special requests.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team for necessary repairs and upkeep.
  • Verify the accuracy of front desk financial records (cash, checks, and credit card transactions) and compile data for financial reporting.
  • Monitor front office operational metrics such as revenue and occupancy rates.
  • Post charges and taxes to guest accounts accurately.
  • Execute end-of-day processes and night audits using Property Management software, preparing reports for management review.
  • Act as the night manager in the absence of RV Resort management and supervisors.
  • Utilize persuasive techniques to promote room sales and additional services offered by the RV Resort and casino.
  • Exhibit patience and composure while providing exceptional service to guests who may be upset or frustrated, demonstrating empathy and understanding.
  • Report any unusual incidents or requests to RV Resort Managers and/or Supervisors.
  • Uphold guest privacy and maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Perform other assigned duties as required.
Qualifications
  • Exceptional guest service skills are essential.
  • Minimum of one year in customer service; experience in the hospitality industry is preferred.
  • Ability to communicate professionally with the public, RV Resort staff, and management.
  • Familiarity with local attractions and events.
  • Willingness to learn safety, emergency, and accident prevention protocols.
  • Proficient in using front office equipment and computer systems.
  • Understanding of proper telephone etiquette.
  • Must be customer-oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of multitasking and working independently.
  • Ability to navigate a challenging environment while handling sensitive issues, maintaining confidentiality, and demonstrating strong attention to detail along with problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Capability to maintain professional and effective working relationships with all organizational levels and external business contacts.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Windows and MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), with experience in database systems. Ability to create reports, correspondence, charts, forms, and other documentation.
Certificates, Licenses, Regulations
  • Valid Washington State Driver's License required.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Class B gaming license with the appropriate gaming authority.
  • Must provide a signed release for the company to obtain a driving record to demonstrate a good driving history.
  • Must be insurable to operate company or customer vehicles by the company’s insurance provider.
Physical Demands and Work Environment

This position requires the ability to receive detailed information through oral and written communication consistently. The employee is frequently required to stand or sit for extended periods. Vision requirements include close vision for computer screen tasks. This role may involve exerting up to 25 pounds of force occasionally and moving objects. The work environment operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
