Key Responsibilities
  • Manage an inventory of available spaces, reservations, and assignments for RVs and yurts.
  • Handle same-day bookings, future reservations, and cancellations efficiently.
  • Familiarize yourself with site and yurt locations, types of accommodations, and current pricing.
  • Maintain effective communication and relationships with all departments.
  • Check in arriving guests and allocate rooms while accommodating special requests when feasible. Assist guests with clubhouse needs during their stay.
  • Coordinate updates on yurt/RV pad status with housekeeping by notifying them of all check-outs, late check-outs, early check-ins, and special requests.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team for necessary repairs.
  • Verify the accuracy of front desk financial records (cash, checks, and credit card transactions) and compile data for the financial records of the resort.
  • Monitor front office operating statistics such as revenue and occupancy rates.
  • Post room charges and applicable taxes to guest accounts.
  • Execute end-of-day processes and night audits using Property Management software, preparing reports for management.
  • Act as the night manager in the absence of RV Resort management and supervisors.
  • Utilize persuasive sales techniques to promote room bookings and additional services offered by the RV Resort and casino.
  • Exhibit patience and composure while providing exceptional service to upset or frustrated guests, demonstrating compassion and empathy.
  • Report any unusual incidents or requests to RV Resort Managers and/or Supervisors.
  • Uphold guest privacy and maintain confidentiality.
  • Be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
  • Perform other assigned duties as required.
Qualifications
  • Exceptional guest service skills are essential.
  • One year of customer service experience is required; prior experience in a hotel setting is preferred.
  • Ability to communicate professionally with the public, RV Resort staff, and management.
  • Knowledge of local attractions and events is beneficial.
  • Willingness to learn safety, emergency, and accident prevention protocols.
  • Proficient in using front office equipment and computer systems.
  • Understanding of proper telephone etiquette.
  • Must be customer-focused with excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of multitasking and working independently.
  • Ability to navigate a challenging environment while handling sensitive issues, maintaining confidentiality, and demonstrating strong attention to detail, problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to cultivate professional, courteous, and effective working relationships with all levels of the organization and external business contacts.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Windows and MS Office programs (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), with experience in database systems. Ability to create reports, correspondence, charts, forms, and other documentation.
Certificates, Licenses, Regulations
  • Valid Washington State Driver's License is required.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Class B gaming license with the appropriate regulatory agency.
  • Must provide a signed release allowing the company to obtain a driving record to verify a good driving history.
  • Must be insurable to operate company or customer vehicles by the company's insurance provider.
Physical Demands and Work Environment

This position requires the ability to receive detailed information through oral and written communication consistently. The employee is regularly required to stand or sit for extended periods. Vision requirements include close vision for computer screen tasks. This role may involve exerting up to 25 pounds of force occasionally and moving objects. The operation runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
