Job Description: The Accountant for the Division of Comparative Medicine (DCM) at Georgetown University's Medical Center Campus is a crucial role responsible for processing departmental billing, maintaining cost centers, and ensuring financial viability. The position involves interaction with departmental staff, researchers, and external vendors.
Responsibilities:
- Process monthly per diem, animal ordering recharges, veterinary and husbandry recharges.
- Maintain cost center lists for Principal Investigators.
- Process departmental payroll and ensure accuracy.
- Perform front office duties in the absence of Administrative Assistant.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years' related experience.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Work Mode Designation: Full-time position
Pay Range: $47, $87,558.13
