Position Overview
Blue Cliff College is currently in search of a Clinical Nursing Educator to join our team. The primary role of the clinical educator is to deliver instruction in clinical settings according to an established course syllabus, utilizing effective teaching methodologies.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all patient care activities, ensuring a high standard of care in clinical environments.
- Engage in various educational programs and ensure adherence to all lesson and care plans.
- Stay updated in the field of nursing education by participating in faculty meetings, instructional seminars, and training sessions.
- Contribute to school events such as advisory board meetings and graduation ceremonies.

Job Duties
- Deliver the curriculum as outlined in the catalog and approved syllabi, adhering to all objectives and timelines.
- Ensure the course fulfills the required contact hours as specified.
- Conduct clinical sessions using organized and engaging methods that replicate a professional work environment, fostering student motivation.
- Maintain punctuality by starting and concluding all clinical sessions on time.
- Relate theoretical class content to practical clinical experiences.
- Complete and submit all end-of-term grades and evaluations promptly.
- Implement and comply with all institutional policies and regulations.
- Monitor and document daily clinical attendance.
- Develop and execute a teaching plan based on course objectives.
- Assess student competency in all relevant skills associated with each course.

Student Development
- Cultivate student skills to ensure they are prepared to deliver safe and effective patient care within their designated scope of practice.
- Adhere to all preceptorship requirements, if applicable.
- Provide tutoring and informal guidance to students as necessary.
- Advise academic administrators on student attendance and academic concerns.

Professional Development
- Attend faculty meetings, in-service training sessions, and instructional meetings as required.
- Serve as a professional role model for students and undertake additional duties as assigned.
- Implement patient care in accordance with state regulations and institutional protocols.
- Demonstrate proficient clinical skills based on evidence-based practices.
- Regularly evaluate the quality of learning experiences provided by the facility.

Mental & Physical Requirements
- Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team.
- Maintain a professional appearance, warm demeanor, and positive attitude.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently while being accurate, efficient, and organized.
- Occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to or above 25 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

Qualifications
- Minimum of an associate degree in nursing.
- A minimum of three years of clinical experience as a registered nurse or two years of experience as faculty in a nursing/allied health program.
- Intermediate computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Current AHA CPR certification and maintenance of immunization records for TB, flu, and COVID.
- Hold an unencumbered and current state nursing license.

Compensation
In alignment with our commitment to pay transparency, the salary range for this position is $80,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Please note that this range reflects base pay only and does not encompass other components of the total rewards package.
