Blue Cliff College is seeking a highly qualified Clinical Nursing Instructor to join our team. As a Clinical Nursing Instructor, you will be responsible for instructing students in a clinical setting, overseeing patient care, and ensuring optimal levels of care. This is an excellent opportunity to share your expertise and passion for nursing education with the next generation of healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Teaching and Instruction: Deliver curriculum as intended by the catalog and approved syllabi on schedule, meeting all stated objectives and timelines.
- Clinical Oversight: Conduct clinicals using organized and interesting methods, which mimic a work environment and facilitate student motivation.
- Student Evaluation: Evaluate student competency in all skills related to each course and develop student skill sets to prepare students to provide safe and effective patient care.
- Administrative Tasks: Complete and turn in all end-of-quarter grades and evaluations, monitor and record daily clinical attendance, and develop and administer teaching plans based on stated course objectives.
- Professional Development: Attend faculty meetings, in-service training sessions, and instructional meetings as required, and participate in various education programs to remain current in your teaching field.
- Education: Hold a minimum of an associate degree in nursing.
- Experience: Have three (3) years of clinical experience working as a registered nurse, or two (2) years of experience as faculty in a nursing/allied health program.
- Skills: Have intermediate computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, and hold a current AHA CPR certification.
- Licensure: Hold an unencumbered and current state license.
The pay range for this position is $80,000 - $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience. This is a full-time position with a competitive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, life and disability insurance, and a 401(k) plan.
