Bilingual Case Manager

Position Overview:
This role is focused on delivering culturally attuned services to clients who have recently arrived as refugees. The Case Manager will engage with individuals who may not have received prior case management support or who are transitioning from a defined case management period.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver culturally sensitive assistance to refugee clients post-case management period or immediately for those without prior support;
  • Facilitate access to state Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) resources for clients;
  • Provide education on financial literacy and cultural integration;
  • Refer clients to mental health services and conduct necessary screenings;
  • Coordinate and create referrals to community resources as needed;
  • Ensure timely completion of required documentation;
  • Transport clients when necessary;
  • Maintain knowledge of agency, federal, and state regulations related to social services;
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Sciences, Human Services, or a related Social Services field from an accredited institution;
  • Experience in child welfare or case management is highly desirable;
  • Fluency in English and Spanish is required;
  • Prior experience working with refugee populations is preferred;
  • Ability to demonstrate mature judgment and cultural sensitivity;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills;
  • Proven clinical, therapeutic, and crisis intervention abilities;
  • Capacity to work independently while maintaining confidentiality;
  • Willingness to work evenings and weekends as necessary;
  • Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office;
  • Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver's license and a minimum of three years of driving experience in the U.S.;
  • Must pass a criminal history background check, including child protection agency registries;
  • Commitment to the agency's Statement of Faith and Mission Statement.
Compensation:
Salary range for residents of specific states is competitive, with adjustments based on geographical location.
