Job Overview

Position Summary: The Lead Case Management Specialist will oversee the strategic planning, execution, and supervision of initiatives aimed at enhancing the growth and welfare of children. This role requires the management of a dedicated team of professionals, including educators, counselors, and volunteers, to provide exceptional services to children and their families. The Lead Case Management Specialist will collaborate with various departments and external organizations to ensure that all initiatives are in line with the organization's mission and objectives.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Program Design and Execution:
    • Develop, strategize, and implement initiatives that foster the physical, emotional, and educational growth of children.
    • Work alongside the Director of Programs to establish goals and targets for children's services.
    • Assess and analyze program effectiveness, making necessary modifications to guarantee high-quality service delivery.
    • Ensure all initiatives adhere to local, state, and federal guidelines.
  • Leadership and Staff Management:
    • Recruit, train, and oversee program personnel, including educators, counselors, and volunteers.
    • Provide continuous professional development and resources to staff to ensure they possess the necessary skills to excel.
    • Conduct regular performance assessments and offer constructive feedback to team members.
  • Financial and Resource Oversight:
    • Create and manage program budgets, ensuring effective allocation of resources to achieve program objectives.
    • Identify and manage grant opportunities and other funding sources to support program growth and sustainability.
    • Supervise the acquisition of materials and resources essential for program operations.
  • Community Engagement and Stakeholder Relations:
    • Establish and nurture relationships with community partners, educational institutions, and other stakeholders to further program objectives.
    • Represent the organization at community gatherings, meetings, and other relevant forums.
    • Maintain regular communication with parents and families to provide updates on program initiatives and gather feedback.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    • Prepare and submit periodic reports on program activities, outcomes, and impacts to the Director of Programs and other stakeholders.
    • Maintain precise records of program participation, outcomes, and other pertinent data.
    • Ensure compliance with all reporting obligations related to funding and regulatory entities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Child Development, Social Work, or a related discipline; Master's degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in program management, ideally within children's services or nonprofit sectors.
  • Strong grasp of child development principles and best practices in children's programming.
