Job Summary:

The Staff Manager, Compute OEM Sales Account Manager will be responsible for managing and growing the commercial product portfolio and revenue with the Lenovo commercial PC business unit. This person will work closely with colleagues around the world and be responsible for creating and executing the global sell-in strategy to drive increased product roadmap alignment and accelerate revenue growth for Lenovo's commercial PC powered by Qualcomm products and technologies globally.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and manage relationships with Lenovo stakeholders from the commercial segment team at all levels globally.
  • Interface with Lenovo category planning, segment, marketing, sales, and operation teams to help expand Lenovo's portfolio of commercial PC powered by Qualcomm products and technologies.
  • Work closely with the sales, marketing, and product teams in Qualcomm's headquarters as well as other regional teams supporting Lenovo's business to drive alignment and support to execute the account team strategy.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in developing relationships at large, complex organizations globally.
  • Successful management of sales targets and goals.
  • Experience in selling components and winning designs with PC OEMs, as well as understanding of the complexity of the compute industry.
  • Understanding of technically complex products and experience in positioning these to a broad audience.
  • 10 years of sales, product management, or business development of complex technology products in compute businesses with knowledge of global dynamics of OEMs & PC markets.
  • Strategic account management expertise, ability to manage change, and desire to operate effectively across organizations and customers.
  • Experience in design win and sell-in activities with PC OEMs, particularly across commercial sales channels.
  • Deep knowledge and experience in building complex financial models that create win-win situations for Qualcomm and our customers.
  • Ability to identify emerging opportunities and proactively engage in pre-sales activity.
  • Expert technical understanding and hands-on experience in mobile and PC technology, including being the first line of defense for technical and product issues.
  • Proficient and detailed understanding of supply chain, product development, and marketing of compute products such as notebooks, desktops, tablets, & mobile.
  • Experience in negotiating and managing pricing & NRE agreements with large OEMs.
  • Ability to communicate, educate, and evangelize both internally and externally.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Creative problem-solving with strong analytical skills.
  • Self-motivated and result-driven.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree and 8 years of sales, business development, product development, or related work experience.
  • Associate's degree and 10 years of sales, business development, product development, or related work experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent and 12 years of sales, business development, product development, or related work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in engineering, technology, or related business field.
  • 15 years in product marketing, sales, or product management in the PC industry.

Pay Range:

$164,600.00 - $246,800.00

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm. We also offer a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and opportunity for annual RSU grants (employees on sales-incentive plans are not eligible for our annual bonus).
