Position Overview:


The Sales Associate is integral to the daily operations of the store, emphasizing customer interaction, store efficiency, and upholding merchandising standards. This role is perfect for confident individuals who find fulfillment in genuine, engaging, and motivating exchanges with customers. Sales Associates prioritize customer needs and are dedicated to promoting brand loyalty and enhancing the store's reputation.


Key Responsibilities:

Customer Experience:
Exemplifies brand loyalty by wearing company products and demonstrating a passion for Lee and Wrangler merchandise.
Welcomes every customer with enthusiasm.
Actively interacts with customers on the sales floor through open-ended inquiries.
Assists customers in fitting rooms.
Recommends the most suitable products to meet customer needs.

Operational Excellence and Safety:
Adheres to all company policies and procedures.
Responds promptly to any customer or associate injuries, reporting them to the manager immediately.

Visual Presentation:
Complies with visual merchandising guidelines.
Fosters a store culture that respects diverse backgrounds and experiences, upholding the values of Kontoor Brands.
Encourages an environment of participation, creativity, and learning by sharing best practices.
Continuously seeks sustainable practices and acknowledges the store's environmental impact.
Embraces the store culture and adapts to changes as directed by management.

Qualifications:
Maintains a positive demeanor with a focus on customer satisfaction.
Previous experience in retail or service roles is preferred but not mandatory.
Ability to collaborate with a team to achieve sales targets.
Comfortable initiating conversations with customers.
Flexible availability to meet business needs, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

Proficient in operating office equipment and technology (e.g., cash registers, computers, phones, scanners).
Ability to stand for scheduled shifts of up to 8 hours.
Engages in walking and moving to assist customers, retrieve merchandise, and maintain store organization.
Capable of lifting and carrying items, regularly up to 25 lbs. and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
Able to push/pull full racks of merchandise for restocking.
Ability to reach, stretch, bend, stoop, and crouch to retrieve items and maintain store cleanliness.
Occasional manual labor is required for display assembly and store layout adjustments.
Vision to accurately read labels and assist customers with attention to detail.
Skilled in fine manipulation and grasping to sort and organize clothing effectively.

Compensation and Benefits:

Salary Range:
$11.00 (or minimum wage) - $15.00 per hour, with a rate of $15.50/hour for New York and Colorado.
