Position Overview:


The Sales Consultant is integral to the daily operations of the store, emphasizing customer interaction, store efficiency, and upholding merchandising standards. This role is perfect for confident individuals who find fulfillment in genuine, engaging, and motivating exchanges with customers.

Sales Consultants prioritize customer needs and are dedicated to promoting and nurturing loyalty towards both the brand and the store.


Core Responsibilities:

Brand Representation/Customer Interaction:
Embodies the brand by wearing the products at work and demonstrating a passion for Lee and Wrangler merchandise.
Welcomes every customer.
Actively interacts with customers on the sales floor by posing open-ended questions.
Assists customers in the fitting area.
Recommends the most suitable products for the customers' requirements.

Store Operations, Loss Prevention, and Safety:
Adheres to all company and store policies, processes, and procedures.
Responds promptly to any customer or associate injuries and reports them immediately to the on-duty manager.

Visual Presentation:
Complies with all guidelines regarding visual merchandising standards for the store.
Store Culture: Respects the diverse backgrounds, experiences, and unique differences of others, upholding the integrity and values of Kontoor Brands.
Encourages an environment that fosters participation, creativity, and learning by sharing best practices and ideas.
Continuously seeks ways to enhance the store's sustainability and acknowledges its environmental impact.
Embraces the culture and is willing to adapt as directed by management.

Job Qualifications:
Maintain a positive demeanor and focus on customer satisfaction.
Previous experience in retail or service-oriented roles is preferred but not mandatory.
Ability to collaborate with a team to surpass sales targets.
Comfortable initiating conversations with customers.
Willingness to work a flexible schedule to accommodate business needs, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Essential Duties:

Operate office equipment and technology (i.e., cash register, computers, phones, scanners, etc.).
Ability to stand for scheduled shifts lasting up to 8 hours.
Walking and moving to assist customers, retrieve merchandise, and maintain store order.
Lifting and carrying, with the ability to maneuver and/or lift up to 25 lbs. regularly, and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
Ability to push/pull full racks of merchandise for restocking purposes.
Ability to reach, stretch, bend, stoop, and crouch to retrieve items from shelves, restock, and maintain store cleanliness.
Occasional manual labor is required to assemble displays and/or rearrange the store layout.
Vision to accurately read labels, assist customers, and perform tasks requiring attention to detail.
Ability to use fine manipulation and grasp with hands to sort and organize clothing, such as placing items on hangers, folding, and organizing by color/size.

Compensation and Benefits:

Salary Range:
$11.00 (or minimum wage) - $15.00 / hour for all states except New York and Colorado, where the compensation is $15.50/hour.
