Position Overview:

The Sales Consultant is integral to the daily operations of the store, emphasizing customer interaction, store efficiency, and upholding merchandising standards. This role is tailored for confident individuals who find fulfillment in genuine, engaging, and inspiring exchanges with customers. Sales Consultants prioritize customer needs and are enthusiastic about promoting brand loyalty and enhancing the store's reputation.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Experience:

  • Demonstrates brand loyalty by wearing and showcasing Lee and Wrangler products.
  • Welcomes every customer with a friendly greeting.
  • Engages customers actively on the sales floor through open-ended inquiries.
  • Assists customers in the fitting room with personalized service.
  • Recommends products tailored to customers' preferences.

Operational Excellence:

  • Adheres to all company policies and procedures diligently.
  • Responds promptly to any customer or associate incidents, reporting them to management immediately.

Visual Presentation:

  • Follows visual merchandising guidelines to maintain store aesthetics.

Store Environment:

  • Respects and values the diverse backgrounds and experiences of all individuals, upholding the principles of Kontoor Brands.
  • Encourages a culture of creativity, participation, and shared learning by exchanging best practices.
  • Continuously seeks opportunities to enhance sustainability and acknowledges the store's environmental impact.

Qualifications:

  • Exhibits a positive demeanor and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a team to achieve sales goals.
  • Comfortable initiating conversations with customers.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

  • Operates various office equipment and technology (e.g., cash registers, computers, phones, scanners).
  • Capable of standing for scheduled shifts of up to 8 hours.
  • Engages in walking and moving to assist customers and maintain store organization.
  • Regularly lifts and carries items up to 25 lbs, with occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to push/pull full racks of merchandise for restocking purposes.
  • Reaches, stretches, bends, stoops, and crouches to retrieve items and maintain store cleanliness.
  • Occasional manual labor required for display assembly and store layout adjustments.
  • Vision required for reading labels and performing detail-oriented tasks.
  • Fine motor skills necessary for sorting and organizing clothing.
