Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to join our team at Drucker + Falk. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for performing make-ready repairs to all vacant units prior to move-in, ensuring that our properties are well-maintained and meet the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform Repairs and Maintenance: Conduct timely and efficient repairs to make-ready units, ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard.
  • On-Call Responsibilities: Respond to on-call paging and be available to perform emergency repairs and maintenance as needed.
  • Assist Maintenance Superintendent: Collaborate with the Maintenance Superintendent to complete tasks and projects, and provide support as needed.
  • Inspect Properties: Conduct regular inspections of properties to identify areas for improvement and recommend repairs and maintenance.
  • Operate Equipment: Safely operate and maintain all equipment, including tools and machinery.
  • Maintain a Clean and Safe Work Environment: Ensure that the maintenance shop and surrounding areas are clean and safe, and that all equipment and tools are properly stored and maintained.
Requirements
  • HVAC Skills: Possess CFC certification and have experience with HVAC systems.
  • Plumbing, Electrical, and Carpentry Skills: Have experience with plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work, including repairs and maintenance.
  • Knowledge of SDS and OSHA: Be familiar with SDS and OSHA regulations and guidelines.
  • Reliable Transportation: Possess a reliable vehicle for transportation to and from work sites.
