About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Maintenance Technician to join our team at System Studies & Simulation, Inc. As an Aircraft Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our aircraft.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspections, repairs, and replacements of aircraft components.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and equipment to repair and maintain aircraft structures, systems, and components.
  • Read and interpret technical manuals, service bulletins, and engineering data to determine the feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components.
  • Work with electrical wiring systems and aircraft accessories to adjust, repair, or replace them as needed.
  • Perform preflight, thru-flight, and post-flight maintenance inspections to ensure aircraft are airworthy.
  • Enter maintenance records and verify work is complete to satisfactory standards.
  • Service engines and airframe components at line stations, making repairs short of overhaul.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Active Secret Clearance.
  • Graduate of Military Service Aircraft Maintenance Program or A&P License highly desired.
  • Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) license may be required.
  • MH-60S Maintenance Experience highly desired.
  • May require specialization in sheet metal, electric work, avionics, or other aircraft systems-related disciplines.
