Position Overview

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for executing both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks on the facility's physical assets, equipment, and machinery, adhering to established standards. This role requires demonstrating proficiency in all job-related activities that could impact product safety, legality, and quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct assigned preventive maintenance activities.
  • Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment.
  • Address and resolve equipment malfunctions and mechanical failures, including troubleshooting as needed. Repair or replace worn or defective components, motors, and control devices.
  • Utilize machine shop tools to fabricate necessary parts when required.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of the work area.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to EEO, Harassment, Safety, and Sarbanes Oxley.
  • Fulfill additional duties as assigned by management, which may include compliance with work schedules and attendance policies.
  • Perform other tasks as directed by supervisory personnel.
Preferred Qualifications

A minimum of one year of experience as a Production Operator or Technician, or equivalent formal training. Familiarity with Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning systems; Welding; Electronics; Electrical repairs; and Industrial Equipment installation and maintenance is advantageous.

Educational Requirements

An Associate Degree in Electronics/Electrical Technology or equivalent formal training and work experience is preferred.
