The Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Sales Director to identify and develop new Large Enterprise sales opportunities, provide product solutions, ensure customer satisfaction, and maintain positive ongoing relationships to maximize sales for the company. This role requires a strong understanding of the telecom industry's competitive landscape and the ability to develop and maintain accurate sales and/or revenue forecasts.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage relationships with acquired and/or existing customers to gain strategic positioning with decision makers, attain additional business, and retain existing revenue.
  • Identify, bid on, negotiate, and close new sales opportunities to meet and exceed established sales and revenue quotas.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the company's entire product suite and provide comprehensive account plans and strategies to win new business from new and/or existing accounts.
  • Provide accurate and detailed weekly forecast funnel of identified and proposed opportunities to meet or exceed sales quota requirements.
  • Provide input to sales management about trends and changes taking place within the customer's organization and make recommendations about future courses of action necessary for the company to improve its position with the customer.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of industry sales experience in Technology/Telecommunications.
  • Attention to detail with good organizational capabilities.
  • Ability to prioritize with good time management skills.
  • Demonstrated strong communication, written, and formal presentation skills as well as proficiency in selling to the close.
  • Self-motivated, pro-active, results-oriented professional with an ability to work with minimum direction.
  • Proficient in MS office products: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge and understanding of the telecom industry's competitive landscape.
  • Experience with Salesforce.
Compensation

The starting salary for this role differs based on the employee's primary work location. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual's qualifications.

Location Based Pay Ranges

$102,380 in these states: OH.

$143,330 in these states: MI.

As with the pay range variety that's based on the region of a country, specific offers are determined by various factors such as experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs.
