Job Summary

The Commonwealth of Virginia is seeking a highly skilled Circuit Court Analyst to provide administrative, procedural, and management support to the circuit courts of the Commonwealth. This is an hourly wage position for approximately 29.5 hours of work per week, with no benefits provided.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide telephone and email support to circuit courts
  • Conduct training and testing of software changes and enhancements
  • Develop and maintain documentation and operations manuals
  • Interact with all levels of personnel within the Judiciary and other governmental agencies
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate competence in:

  • Clerk's office procedures
  • Organizational management techniques
  • Written communication and presentation skills
  • Course development and training
  • Ability to interact with all levels of personnel within the Judiciary and other governmental agencies

Preferred qualifications include prior experience in a circuit court, general district, or juvenile and domestic relations district court clerk's office, as well as knowledge of case, records, and financial management, and associated automated systems.

Working Conditions

This position requires occasional travel throughout the Commonwealth and may involve remote work. Residency in the Commonwealth of Virginia is required.
