Job Description

The Account Executive I is a key role at MedImpact, responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with Covered Entity (CE) clients. This position requires a deep understanding of CE customer organizations, including their structure, contracts, benefits, culture, usage, program goals, and other needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of CE customer organizations.
  • Maintain frequent contact with CE customer personnel through face-to-face meetings, telephone calls, WebEx, and written communications.
  • Monitor CE customer commitment, attitude, and engagement with SUNRx services.
  • Develop and implement strategic business plans to ensure CE satisfaction, account growth, and retention.
  • Assist with coordination of relationships with other vendors used by CE customers.
  • Develop CE customer renewal strategies and ensure long-term contractual commitments.
  • Implement existing sales strategy for up-sell activities across all CE customer accounts.
  • Navigate customer issues, challenges, and growth opportunities with internal teams.
  • Assist with compliance efforts to increase utilization and sell various programs through to the CE.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university and three plus years related experience.
  • 2+ years of 340B experience required.
  • Intermediate to advanced skill set in MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Outlook.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge in Visio and knowledge of WebEx.
