About Us: ABS Kids is dedicated to improving the lives of children with autism spectrum disorder and their families. We are currently seeking a Center Support Specialist to enhance our team.

Role Overview: The Center Support Specialist serves as the initial point of contact for clients visiting our clinical facilities. This position entails providing essential administrative assistance to our regional administration team and healthcare providers. Flexibility and adaptability are crucial as this role may evolve with our organizational changes.

Key Responsibilities:

Reception Duties:

  • Welcome clients and ensure all necessary documentation is completed, including insurance verification and client photographs.
  • Conduct reminder calls prior to scheduled appointments.
  • Review client accounts for any missing documentation and obtain required information.
  • Manage rescheduling for cancellations and no-shows.
  • Oversee inventory of office, kitchen, and clinical supplies on a weekly basis.
  • Complete weekly order requests for supplies.
  • Communicate urgent needs to the office manager.
  • Maintain a tidy and professional environment in the lobby and therapy areas.
  • Mail necessary documents to clients as required.
  • Respond to calls and emails from clients and staff.
  • Receive and log office supplies as they arrive.
  • Assist providers with inquiries and office-related tasks.
  • Ensure daily distribution of mail.

Scheduling Duties:

  • Adjust schedules for Behavior Technicians (BTs) in response to client cancellations.
  • Coordinate with supervising Behavior Analysts regarding schedule modifications.
  • Administer and track adherence to the cancellation policy.
  • Collaborate with BTs on rescheduling clients due to illness.
  • Ensure timely submission of PTO requests in the payroll system.
  • Generate weekly reports to monitor BT call-outs.
  • Conduct daily audits of unconverted appointments.
  • Comply with federal HIPAA regulations and company policies.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a medical or administrative office setting.
  • Strong professional communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer skills.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Hourly wage of $18, based on qualifications.
  • Comprehensive benefits package.
  • Standard working hours from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.
