Sales Floor Coordinator

We are currently seeking an experienced Sales Floor Supervisor for our specialty retail establishment, known for offering a diverse selection of spices, herbs, teas, and related products. As a Sales Floor Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring adherence to our operational standards while managing daily store activities. Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with all operational standards and procedures related to the daily management of the store.
- Support Store Managers by mentoring and developing team members; planning, monitoring, and evaluating performance outcomes.
- Analyze and implement strategies based on key performance indicators to motivate team members in achieving sales targets.
- Manage the store's general email account daily in the absence of Store or Assistant Managers.
- Relay essential updates to the Store Manager and staff as needed.
- Label merchandise with SKUs, prices, and locations, and assist in maintaining adequate labeling supplies.
- Prepare and package products as required.
- Assist with inventory tracking, write-offs, and invoice management in the POS system.
- Restock shelves and displays, participate in physical inventory counts, and ensure product availability.
- Build and maintain rapport with customers to encourage repeat visits and positive word-of-mouth.
- Promote and uphold the brand image of our establishment at all times while in uniform.
- Oversee daily deposit procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
- Implement security measures to safeguard merchandise.
- Balance and reconcile cash registers at the beginning and end of each business day.
- Contribute to a cohesive team environment by actively participating in team efforts to achieve shared goals.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1-3 years of experience in retail management.
- Proficient in computer applications (Google Workspace, POS/Inventory systems).
- Flexible availability on weekdays and weekends, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings.
Compensation: $21.00 per hour
