Position Overview: We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Litigation Support Specialist to join our dynamic legal team. This role will allow you to deepen your knowledge of the legal field, particularly in real estate, while playing a crucial role in our firm's success. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing extensive litigation assistance, preparing legal documents, ensuring compliance with legal standards, conducting legal research, and managing correspondence. With a strong attention to detail and a dedication to excellence, you will be instrumental in case analysis and client communication.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide comprehensive litigation assistance to attorneys, including the preparation of legal documents, conducting legal research, and managing correspondence.
  2. Assist in the discovery process by organizing, tracking, and managing a substantial volume of documents and data relevant to ongoing litigation.
  3. Ensure compliance with legal standards, maintaining current knowledge of laws and regulations, and advising the team as necessary.
  4. Conduct thorough legal case analysis, identifying key issues, potential risks, and strategic opportunities to inform case strategies.
  5. Facilitate effective communication with clients, keeping them informed about case progress, potential challenges, and next steps.
  6. Prepare and manage all necessary documentation for real estate transactions, including contracts, deeds, and closing documents.
  7. Collaborate with the legal team to prepare for trial, including drafting pleadings, preparing exhibits, and coordinating witness testimony.
Qualifications:
  1. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a litigation paralegal, preferably in the real estate sector.
  2. A bachelor's degree in law, paralegal studies, or a related field. Paralegal certification is highly desirable.
  3. Proficiency in legal document preparation, compliance, discovery, and research.
  4. Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to conduct comprehensive legal case analysis.
  5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective client interaction and legal correspondence.
  6. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
  7. A keen attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  8. Familiarity with legal software and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  9. Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
