We seek a CoMET Project Manager who demonstrates a strong client service orientation and possesses technical leadership skills to address the diverse needs of our clientele across Northern California.

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, with a solid background in construction materials evaluation, special inspections, construction management, or related engineering services.

Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate project initiation meetings;
- Conduct site visits for materials testing and inspection services while providing hands-on training to field personnel;
- Champion safety culture, develop health and safety plans, and lead discussions on loss prevention with staff;
- Generate reports and perform necessary calculations;
- Review and endorse daily field reports and laboratory data reports as required;
- Address technical inquiries from clients, administrative staff, field personnel, and laboratory managers;
- Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure high service standards;
- Promote ongoing quality monitoring and enhancement on projects, ensuring adherence to quality standards;
- Deliver project outputs to clients in accordance with contractual obligations and timelines;
- Manage project work within approved budgets;
- Prepare cost estimates and proposal letters for new initiatives.


Minimum Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in materials testing, special inspections, construction management, or related engineering services.
- At least 1 year of project management experience, including direct client engagement and the ability to plan, organize, execute, and oversee projects of varying sizes.
- Capability to work independently and collaboratively, maintaining composure in high-pressure environments with shifting priorities.
- Exceptional interpersonal, presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and the ability to pass a drug screening.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency in using a company-provided laptop or tablet and familiarity with MS Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a high level of personal integrity.
- Authorization to work in the United States.


Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Geology, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Certification in testing and inspection, including but not limited to soils, concrete, aggregate, asphalt, and specialty testing.
- Relevant construction inspection and testing certifications from recognized organizations.
