We are currently seeking a skilled Construction Materials Project Manager to join our team. This role is based in our office and presents a fantastic opportunity for a qualified professional to contribute to our esteemed organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with project designers and clients to ensure adherence to client specifications.
  • Conduct routine to complex inspections and testing of construction materials in various field settings.
  • Generate daily reports detailing observation activities.
  • Review observation and testing data for precision and thoroughness.
  • Assist in the preparation and scoping of proposals.
  • Monitor project budgets and manage invoicing processes.
  • Support the training, supervision, and mentoring of junior personnel as required.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction materials testing and observation, mandatory.
  • Proficient in reading and understanding plans and specifications, mandatory.
  • Experience with IBC Special Inspections is preferred.
  • Background in managing small to large-scale construction and/or heavy highway projects is preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
  • A 4-year degree in Civil Engineering is preferred.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record is mandatory.
  • EIT or PE level accreditation is considered a bonus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a keen attention to detail are mandatory.
  • Excellent organizational and planning abilities are mandatory.
  • Familiarity with MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and OneDrive is mandatory.
Preferred Certifications
  • ACI Concrete Field-Testing Technician
  • One ICC Certification
