We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Front Desk Receptionist to join our team at PHYSICAL THERAPY & SPORTS MEDICINE - Ogden. As a key member of our front office staff, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring a seamless experience for our patients and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. First Point of Contact: Greet patients and visitors with a warm and welcoming demeanor, creating a positive atmosphere at the front desk.
  2. Communication Expertise: Handle all incoming calls and inquiries promptly and professionally, providing accurate information and directing calls to the appropriate staff members.
  3. Scheduling Efficiency: Schedule appointments efficiently, ensuring optimal utilization of clinic resources and minimizing patient wait times.
  4. Insurance and Registration: Verify patient insurance information and assist in processing necessary paperwork for a seamless check-in process.
  5. Record Keeping: Maintain patient records and update the clinic's database with new information as required.
  6. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with therapists and other clinic staff to ensure smooth patient flow and timely delivery of services.
  7. Financial Transactions: Handle billing and payment processing in a confidential and organized manner.
  8. Customer Service: Address patient concerns and complaints with empathy and professionalism, escalating issues to the appropriate personnel when necessary.
  9. Front Desk Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, ensuring a professional and pleasant environment for patients and staff.
Requirements:
  • Customer Service Experience: Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients, staff, and visitors.
  • Organizational Abilities: Strong organizational abilities to manage appointment scheduling and administrative tasks efficiently.
  • Medical Terminology: Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance procedures is a plus, but not required (we are willing to provide training).
  • Multitasking: Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
  • Attention to Detail: Detail-oriented and capable of maintaining accuracy in data entry and paperwork.
  • Positive Attitude: Positive attitude and a team player mentality.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
