Our local operations include multiple Ronald McDonald Houses and hospitality programs, all aimed at removing barriers and fostering healing during difficult times.

Key Responsibilities

As a Guest House Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact for families staying at the OHSU Rood Family Pavilion. Your role is crucial in delivering exceptional hospitality and support to our guests, ensuring a welcoming environment during their stay.

Main Duties Include:

  • Acting as the primary contact for guest inquiries during check-in, check-out, and throughout their stay
  • Facilitating connections between guests and community resources, as well as in-house programs
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization of communal areas in collaboration with housekeeping staff
  • Welcoming and coordinating volunteers, both individual and group
  • Supporting meal programs by managing pantry supplies and assisting with meal preparation

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Providing room reservation assistance as needed
  • Participating in on-call duties on a rotating basis
  • Ensuring safety and security protocols are upheld for all guests and staff
  • Completing other assigned tasks as required

Work Environment:

The role primarily takes place in an office setting, with potential outdoor events that may require lifting and prolonged standing.

Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of one year in customer service, social services, healthcare, childcare, or hospitality.

Skills:

  • Strong customer service orientation with a friendly demeanor
  • Ability to engage with diverse individuals, including guests and volunteers
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in email and office software
  • Capacity to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Fluency in Spanish is highly desirable
