We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Extended Warranty Accounting Specialist to contribute to our growing organization.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage the processing of new business contracts related to extended warranty and insurance offerings.
- Handle aftermarket product transactions and maintain monthly reconciliation documentation.
- Provide assistance to customers regarding inquiries and issues related to the cancellation of aftermarket warranty and insurance products.
- Process and record cancellations, including lienholder requests and customer cancellations; prepare refund checks for customers or lienholders as necessary.
- Maintain schedules and address reconciling items in extended warranty and insurance reconciliations.
- Oversee the processing and assignment of wholesale titles.
- Collect and manage wholesale receivables.
- Maintain schedules pertinent to wholesale transactions.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company policies regarding information security.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in an automotive dealership environment is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills are essential.
- Proficient in computer usage, including spreadsheets and calculators; willingness to learn internal systems.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel is required.
- Ability to organize reports and reconciliations effectively.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Eligibility to work in the United States is mandatory.
- Successful completion of a drug test and thorough criminal background check is required.
- A proactive attitude and motivation to exceed standard expectations are necessary.
