Position: Field Service Technician for Construction Equipment
Butler Machinery Company is seeking a dedicated Field Service Technician to operate in various locations, providing exceptional service and support for our heavy machinery clients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct field service operations, which may include overnight travel.
- Utilize a Field Service Truck to perform repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Be available for emergency repair situations outside of regular hours.
- Complete necessary documentation such as service reports and time cards promptly.
- Engage effectively with clients and supervisors to ensure clear communication.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues across various diesel technology systems, including electrical and hydraulic components.
- Perform all necessary repairs and maintenance on construction machinery.
- Make decisions that prioritize the best interests of customers and the company.
- Work autonomously with minimal supervision.
- Embody and promote the core values and mission of Butler Machinery Company.
Qualifications:
- Preferred: Two-year Associate Degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience in construction equipment repair is essential.
- Basic welding skills and familiarity with cutting tools are advantageous.
- Must be self-motivated, organized, and capable of working independently.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required.
- Knowledge of relevant software systems is a plus.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Must possess a clean driving record and be able to obtain a CDL.
- Residence within the surrounding area is preferred.
