Director of Philanthropy

Hope for Haiti is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Philanthropy to join our Development Team. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive fundraising strategy to support the organization's mission and goals.
Key Responsibilities:- Donor Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with major donors, foundations, and corporate partners to secure funding for Hope for Haiti's programs and services.
- Fundraising Events: Plan and execute special events, including galas, auctions, and other fundraising activities, to engage donors and raise critical funds for the organization.
- Grant Writing: Research and write grant proposals to secure funding from foundations, corporations, and government agencies.
- Donor Research: Conduct research to identify new potential donors and develop strategies to engage them with Hope for Haiti's mission.
- Reporting and Evaluation: Track and analyze fundraising results, providing regular reports to the Chief Development Officer and other stakeholders.
- Experience: 5-7 years of experience in non-profit development, fundraising, or a related field.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Communications, International Development, Public Policy, Sociology, Business, or a related field.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and strong organizational and time management skills.
- Competitive Salary: $80,000 - $95,000 DOE.
