The Aviation Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the management and leadership tasks associated with the delivery of services and operations in general aviation. This role involves executing the following responsibilities either directly or through subordinate supervisors.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily leadership and direction to ensure consistent, safe, and reliable operations and services.
- Lead and manage all service deliveries, addressing service recovery when necessary.
- Communicate with customers regarding various matters, including tenant relations and transient sales.
- Conduct shift briefings with subordinate supervisors and staff.
- Ensure shift scheduling aligns with customer demand.
- Act as a liaison for the company within the airport community.
- Uphold and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures regarding customer service standards, ramp operations, safety, and security protocols.
- Welcome and assist customers with hotel reservations, ground transportation, catering, and other services.

- Foster a culture of safety through daily observations, shift briefings, routine audits, and documented safety procedures.

Emergency Preparedness
- Develop procedures for responding to aircraft accidents, fires, or other emergencies.
- Promote customer loyalty by creating an environment that enhances employee engagement.
- Maintain relationships with vendors and oversee ground support equipment (GSE) and facility maintenance operations.
- Conduct investigations into accidents to determine root causes and manage all reporting related to incidents.
- Administer the Computer-Based Training program for the base and provide on-the-job training as needed.
- Oversee fuel quality control activities at the base.
- Perform leadership functions, including conducting annual reviews, making hiring decisions, and managing the performance of direct reports.
- Handle tasks such as time and attendance administration and processing new employees.
- Undertake additional duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements
The following functions may be performed in various weather and environmental conditions, including exposure to jet engine fumes, dust, or noise.

Must possess the ability to:

- Frequently stand, walk, sit, use hands to manipulate objects, reach with arms, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and communicate verbally.

- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Read, write, and fluently speak and understand the English language.
- Analyze and interpret general business publications, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.

- Interpret a wide variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and manage several abstract and concrete variables.

- Define problems, gather data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Write reports, business correspondence, and procedural manuals.
- Effectively present information and respond to inquiries from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Participate in the budgeting process for the base.
- Monitor and control expenses, work hours, and inventory.

- A Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university or five to ten years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

- A valid state driver's license is required.
- Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills are essential.
- General knowledge of business management and accounting practices.
- Proficiency with personal computers and Microsoft Office products.
