Senior Systems Engineering Analyst for Space Programs

Senior Systems Engineering Analyst for Space ProgramsKBR is looking for a Senior Systems Engineering Analyst to support a prominent Intelligence Community Space initiative. The ideal candidate will engage with Architecture and Requirements, Analysis, and Digital Engineering teams to execute comprehensive Enterprise Systems Engineering for Space systems across various sectors. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing the Customer's Request for Change (RFC) and Requirements Configuration Management (CM) processes, while grasping and applying the Customer's enterprise capability architecture and requirements baseline management methodologies.
- Recognizing and addressing risks, issues, and opportunities (RIO) within projects, formulating effective mitigation strategies, and collaborating with partner stakeholders on shared RIO management.
- Planning, organizing, and executing enterprise testing initiatives, crafting detailed test strategies, plans, scenarios, and transition plans, ensuring meticulous documentation, requirements tracing, and review of all testing processes.
- Developing, managing, and sustaining integrated project timelines using MS Project, working closely with team members and stakeholders to ensure schedules remain current and aligned with project objectives.
- Leveraging expertise in SIGINT and GEOINT capabilities, requirements, systems, architectures, and mission objectives while applying systems engineering skills in requirements gathering, architectural design, digital engineering, modeling, analysis, and testing.
Security Clearance: Top Secret - SCI with Counterintelligence Polygraph
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a STEM field preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in government Space system acquisitions within the DoD or Intelligence Community.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively across stakeholder organizations.
- Excellent communication skills for interfacing with customers, directorate/office representatives, and various system engineering groups.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in a STEM discipline.
- Experience in Systems Engineering with Model-Based Engineering applications and technologies.
- OMG-Certified Systems Modeling Professional certification or equivalent knowledge.
- Proficiency in MS Project; familiarity with Jira is advantageous.
- Experience with National Reconnaissance Office RFC, CM, and RIO management processes.
