In this role, you will:

  • Provide expert guidance to senior and mid-level managers on system engineering and acquisition decisions, including investment strategies, portfolio prioritization, system reviews, and risk assessments.
  • Conduct thorough technical and cost analyses of developer proposals, technical reports, design artifacts, and programs.
  • Lead studies and analyses focusing on specific operational issues such as mission assessment, optimization, operation tools, and resource management.
  • Participate in the conceptual development, optimization, and transition testing of new operational capabilities, including CONOP development and training.
  • Provide technical analysis, test planning, and execution support for complex engineering field tests and studies.
  • Analyze complex signal collection programs, considering viability, performance, and implementation feasibility.
  • Collaborate effectively with government and contractor stakeholders in both formal and informal settings.

Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI Clearance (with a current SSBI favorable adjudicated within the last 5 years).
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related scientific or technical field with 8+ years of experience supporting USG or Commercial Space Systems. This includes knowledge of architectures, CONOPS, requirements generation, testing, and operations.
  • Strong background in and certification for Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
  • Proven experience as a SETA and familiarity with USG Operations, Requirements development, and acquisition processes.
