Senior Systems Engineering Analyst for Space Operations

KBR is in search of a Senior Systems Engineering Analyst to support a prominent Intelligence Community Space initiative. The ideal candidate will collaborate with Architecture and Requirements, Analysis, and Digital Engineering teams to facilitate comprehensive Enterprise Systems Engineering for Space systems across various sectors. Key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing the Customer's Request for Change (RFC) and Requirements Configuration Management (CM) processes, ensuring a thorough understanding and implementation of the enterprise capability architecture and requirements baseline management.
  • Recognizing and managing risks, issues, and opportunities (RIO) within projects, crafting effective mitigation strategies, and working alongside partner stakeholders for joint RIO management.
  • Planning, organizing, and executing enterprise testing initiatives, developing detailed test strategies, plans, scenarios, and transition plans, while ensuring meticulous documentation, requirements tracing, and review of all testing activities.
  • Creating, managing, and maintaining integrated project schedules using MS Project, collaborating with team members and stakeholders to ensure schedules remain current and aligned with project objectives.
  • Leveraging expertise in SIGINT and GEOINT capabilities, requirements, systems, architectures, and mission objectives while applying systems engineering skills in requirements gathering, architectural design, digital engineering, modeling, analysis, and testing.

Security Clearance: Top Secret - SCI with Counterintelligence Polygraph

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a STEM field preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in government Space system acquisitions within the DoD or Intelligence Community.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively across stakeholder organizations.
  • Excellent communication skills for interfacing with customers, directorate/office representatives, and across systems engineering groups.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in a STEM field.
  • Experience in Systems Engineering with Model-Based Engineering applications and technologies.
  • Certification as an OMG-Certified Systems Modeling Professional or equivalent knowledge.
  • Proficiency in MS Project; familiarity with Jira is advantageous.
  • Experience with National Reconnaissance Office RFC, CM, and RIO management.
