Key Responsibilities

  • Delegate audit sections to team members and interns
  • Fulfill administrative duties associated with engagements
  • Organize and schedule engagements to meet all deadlines
  • Engage in all phases of financial statement audits and internal control assessments
  • Communicate effectively with clients regarding engagement expectations and relevant accounting developments
  • Identify potential issues early in the engagement process
  • Handle and analyze data responsibly
  • Engage with clients to ensure their needs are met
  • Oversee both routine and complex engagements, including planning and technical decision-making
  • Maintain and enhance accounting knowledge to provide effective solutions
  • Offer timely feedback to promote staff development
  • Facilitate in-house training and team-building initiatives
  • Demonstrate and acquire expertise in relevant subjects
  • Pursue business development opportunities through marketing and proposal efforts
  • Supervise all stages of professional work, leveraging past experiences
  • Mentor junior staff and seniors

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related field, preferably Accounting
  • Valid CPA or in progress
  • 5-7 years of experience in public audit accounting
  • Experience in Construction, S-Corp, and C-Corp environments is advantageous
  • Ability to manage audit and consulting engagements with minimal oversight
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Strong decision-making abilities and initiative
  • Capability to work effectively under pressure while managing heavy workloads
  • Ability to collaborate closely with clients to address inquiries and gather necessary information
  • Demonstrated creative problem-solving skills
