- Identify and report potential fraud or violations of laws to Internal Audit management; document findings to support the final audit report
- Prepare draft audit reports for supervisory review, including findings and recommendations; participate in discussions to review audit results and create presentation materials as needed
- Evaluate management responses to audit issues; engage in the annual SOX process and contribute as an internal controls consultant on project teams
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge in Internal Audit, Life Insurance, Accounting, and Business Administration; undertake special projects as assigned
- Perform additional related duties as required
This salary range reflects the job level and considers various factors such as education, experience, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. The range is established based on information available at the time of posting. Compensation decisions are made based on individual circumstances. The salary range for this position is $55,000 - $140,000.
In addition to the base salary, Aflac offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, prescription drug coverage, flexible spending accounts, and various supplemental policies. Employees are also eligible for a 401(k) plan, annual bonuses, and the opportunity to purchase company stock. Aflac provides 11 paid holidays, up to 20 days of paid time off, and complies with all applicable leave laws.
