Key Responsibilities

  • Delegate audit tasks to team members and interns.
  • Manage administrative aspects of engagements.
  • Organize and schedule audits to meet all deadlines.
  • Engage in all phases of financial statement audits and internal control assessments.
  • Communicate effectively with clients regarding engagement expectations and relevant financial developments.
  • Identify potential issues early in the audit process.
  • Handle and analyze data responsibly.
  • Engage with clients to ensure their objectives are met.
  • Oversee both routine and complex engagements, including planning and technical decisions.
  • Maintain and enhance accounting knowledge to provide effective solutions.
  • Offer constructive feedback to promote staff development.
  • Facilitate in-house training and team-building initiatives.
  • Demonstrate and acquire expertise in relevant subjects.
  • Pursue business development opportunities through marketing and proposal efforts.
  • Supervise all stages of professional work, leveraging past experiences.
  • Mentor junior staff and seniors.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related field, preferably Accounting.
  • Valid CPA or in progress.
  • 5-7 years of experience in public audit accounting.
  • Experience in Construction, S-Corp, and C-Corp environments is advantageous.
  • Ability to manage audit and consulting engagements with minimal oversight.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Strong decision-making abilities and initiative.
  • Capability to work effectively under pressure while managing multiple priorities.
  • Ability to collaborate closely with clients to gather necessary information.
  • Proven problem-solving skills.
