Job Summary

The Field Sales Representative position is responsible for driving sales growth and expanding our presence in assigned territories. As a key member of our sales team, you will build strong relationships with customers, identify new business opportunities, and develop strategic plans to achieve sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet and exceed projected sales goals by building strong relationships with customers and identifying new business opportunities.
  • Utilize a consultative selling style to understand customer needs and preferences, and develop tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to expand our presence in assigned territories, including identifying new customers and developing business plans to achieve sales targets.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity, and provide insights and recommendations to inform sales strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product development, to ensure alignment and effective execution of sales strategies.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, including responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements

  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities and develop effective solutions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of directly related experience. One to three years of sales experience in the optical industry or a related field is preferred.
