Position Overview:
As a Senior Risk Assessment Analyst, you will be responsible for collaborating with various stakeholders to initiate, define, and strategize control evaluations for both new and existing vendor partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments either on-site at vendor locations or remotely through virtual meetings.
  • Review completed questionnaires and supporting documentation to ensure vendors have effectively implemented necessary information security controls, identifying any weaknesses or non-compliance with industry standards.
  • Generate comprehensive documentation of assessments and perform threat analysis on identified gaps.
  • Effectively communicate vendor information security concerns to stakeholders, ensuring clarity on associated risks and necessary remediation actions.
  • Validate evidence provided by vendors prior to the closure of Remediation Plans.
  • Escalate vendor-related issues to management as required.

Qualifications:
Possess a deep understanding of concepts, best practices, and controls across various information security domains, including but not limited to risk management, access control, cryptography, physical security, security architecture and design, network security, application & operations security, and compliance/incident management.

Technical Skills:
Demonstrated technical expertise or IT audit experience with a broad range of technologies, including:
  • Server infrastructure and operating systems
  • Network and web infrastructures
  • Database architecture
  • Intrusion detection/prevention systems

Proficient Knowledge in Risk Domains:
Experience with:
  • Database and application security
  • IDS/IPS technologies
  • System/Access Administration
  • Firewall technologies
  • Network Architecture
  • Security Event Logging & Monitoring
  • Key Management/Tokenization
  • Secure Protocols across Database/Application/Network Layers
  • Physical and Environmental Security
  • Secure Software/Code Development
  • Change Management
  • Vulnerability Management

Personal Attributes:
A self-motivated individual with the capability to manage and prioritize tasks effectively using time management techniques. A collaborative team player with proven abilities to influence and motivate others to achieve objectives within set timelines.

Communication Skills:
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage with individuals at all levels, both technical and non-technical, in a dynamic environment where interactions may not always be face-to-face.

Additional Experience:
Experience in conducting information security assessments, providing guidance to business stakeholders, and interpreting information security policies and standards is highly valued. IT Risk Management/Audit certifications (such as CISSP, CISA, CRISC, etc.) are preferred.
