Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst

The Opportunity

Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. is on the lookout for a driven and seasoned Senior Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to enhance our expanding team. In this pivotal role, you will contribute to the financial stability and growth initiatives of the organization. Your proficiency in FP&A methodologies, combined with your technical capabilities in PeopleSoft, Essbase, and Excel, will be essential in generating precise forecasts, evaluating financial performance, and delivering valuable insights to management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with organizational leaders to design and uphold detailed financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and scenario analysis.
  • Employ PeopleSoft and Essbase to oversee financial data, streamline processes, and produce reports.
  • Perform thorough evaluations of financial performance, encompassing revenue, expenses, and profitability indicators.
  • Craft compelling presentations and reports to convey financial outcomes and trends to executive leadership.
  • Recognize and execute process enhancements to boost the efficiency and effectiveness of FP&A functions.
  • Engage in the month-end closing process, ensuring timely and precise financial reporting.
  • Remain informed about contemporary financial trends and best practices in FP&A.
  • Guide and mentor junior members of the FP&A team.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in financial planning and analysis.
  • Proven expertise with PeopleSoft, Essbase, and Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to operate independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Leadership experience is a plus.
  • Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Background in expense and revenue analysis.
