Position Overview
As a key player in the Procurement division, the Senior Financial Analyst will report directly to the Director of Supply Chain Services & Operations. This role is crucial in providing financial insights and support to the Procurement team, which is responsible for sourcing both direct and indirect materials for the production of Trinseo's extensive product line across multiple manufacturing sites globally.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with functional leaders and global management teams to shape the operational and financial strategies.
- Foster a financial mindset within the organization, translating operational metrics into performance measures.
- Identify performance gaps and drive accountability for achieving both short-term and long-term objectives.
- Safeguard organizational assets by managing risks and ensuring precise reporting of financial results.
- Support the monthly forecasting, annual planning, and long-term strategic processes with accurate financial projections.
- Assist in the financial close process by analyzing results and communicating any deviations.
- Ensure compliance with the Company's control systems related to financial reporting and operational activities.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives aimed at optimizing working capital and enhancing profitability across various dimensions.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Finance, or Accounting (advanced degrees such as MBA or CPA preferred).
- 5 to 8 years of experience in financial analysis or cost accounting.

Skills and Competencies
- Strong understanding of financial accounting and manufacturing cost accounting principles.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to evaluate economic performance.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a diverse and inclusive environment.
