Position Type: Full Time

Experience Requirements: Minimum of 2 years in the accounting or finance sector. Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

  • Evaluate journal entries necessary for comprehensive review and reporting of the organization's financial status.
  • Support the Chief Accounting Officer in daily, monthly, and annual accounting operations.
  • Assist with the budgeting process as required.
  • Examine account analyses and reconciliations for General Ledger accounts.
  • Review accruals and recurring entries initiated by third-party or accounting personnel.
  • Collaborate with the CAO to prepare and disseminate financial statements.
  • Assess utility spreadsheets prepared by third-party or accounting staff.
  • Conduct analysis of prepaid expenses and expense allocations.
  • Review all month-end work papers to ensure reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.
  • Analyze revenue and expense classifications to ensure compliance.
  • Oversee cash distributions and reserves as directed.
  • Evaluate expense management across various properties to identify potential inefficiencies.
  • Assist the CAO and Director of Accounting in developing spreadsheets and additional reporting tools for distributions.
  • Engage with on-site personnel and third-party vendors as necessary.
