Position Overview
As a key player in the Procurement division, the Senior Financial Analyst will provide essential financial insights and support under the guidance of the Director of Supply Chain Services & Operations. This role is pivotal in overseeing the financial aspects of acquiring both direct and indirect materials necessary for the production of Trinseo's extensive product range across multiple manufacturing sites worldwide.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with functional leaders and global management teams to shape the operational and financial strategies.
- Foster a financial mindset within the organization, translating operational metrics into performance measures and addressing any gaps identified.
- Serve as the financial steward, ensuring the preservation of organizational assets through effective risk management and accurate reporting.
- Support the monthly forecasting, annual planning, and long-term strategic processes with comprehensive financial projections.
- Assist in the financial closing process by analyzing results and communicating any discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with the company's control systems related to financial reporting and operational functions.
- Lead various cross-functional initiatives aimed at optimizing working capital and enhancing profitability across the organization.

Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Finance, or Accounting (advanced degrees such as MBA, CPA, or CFA preferred).
- Experience: 5 to 8 years in financial analysis or cost accounting.

Skills and Competencies
- Proficient in financial accounting and manufacturing cost accounting.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on economic evaluation.
