Director, Technology Alliances Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Partnership Leader to lead our strategic GTM partnerships in the cybersecurity domain.

This role involves driving collaborative sales initiatives and enhancing security offerings by developing sales strategies, managing a team of business development professionals, and negotiating partnership agreements.

The ideal candidate will have experience in sales and partnership management within the cybersecurity sector, with a focus on team leadership, collaboration, and mentoring talent.

About the Role:
  • Sales Strategies: Develop and implement sales strategies that leverage security partnerships to drive revenue growth.
  • Team Management: Use your proven track record of managing a team of business development/alliance professionals with a history of quota and KPI overachievement.
  • GTM Execution: Collaborate with internal sales teams on GTM execution and to integrate partner security solutions into CrowdStrike offerings.
  • Talent Development: Leverage your ability to mentor and grow talent within the team.
  • Partnership Negotiation: Negotiate partnership agreements that align with our strategic goals and market needs.
  • Joint Solution Creation: Work closely with product management, marketing, and technical teams to create and promote joint security solutions.
  • KPI Establishment: Establish KPIs and metrics to evaluate the success of security partnerships.
  • Performance Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on partnership performance and sales achievements to senior management.
What You'll Need:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in sales, business development, & partnership management within the cybersecurity sector.
  • Experience leading a team
  • Proven track record of managing strategic alliances and driving sales growth in security technologies.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity solutions, industry standards, and emerging threats.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
