We are seeking an experienced Architectural Project Manager to join our team at MJM Architects. As a key team member, you will be responsible for managing multiple small-to-midsize projects, from design to construction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and scope of work to ensure client satisfaction and firm profitability.
  • Oversee project performance, including budgets, schedules, communication, documentation, and project delivery.
  • Coordinate staffing requirements and needs with the Director/Associate/Client Manager/Senior PM in charge.
  • Manage project coordinators assigned to assist with projects.
  • Prepare due diligence, design, construction documents, and construction administration within budgeted hours and schedule.
  • Issue deliverables to clients, landlords, vendors, etc.
  • Review shop drawings and submittals during the construction phase.
  • Perform building surveys and construction site visits, and issue reports as applicable for project type.
  • Communicate with consultants primarily on the scope of work, schedule, delivery, and quality control for their projects.
  • May communicate directly with clients.
Requirements
  • Five or more years of experience, licensure preferred but not required.
  • One year's experience with Project Management tasks.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree or commensurate experience in the profession.
  • Licensure Preferred or on the path.
  • Possesses solid technical knowledge and demonstrates creative problem-solving.
  • Ability to work independently on construction documents. Well-organized and self-motivated.
