With over 70 years of expertise in Landscape Architecture and Land Planning, our services encompass a variety of sectors: Corporate and Commercial Spaces, Residential Developments, Streetscapes and Public Areas, Parks and Recreational Facilities, Hospitality and Resorts, and Therapeutic Gardens.
Our commitment extends to providing solution-oriented services, including Conservation and LEED Design, Green Infrastructure, Master Planning, Reclamation, Urban Design, and Project Management. We maintain affiliations with numerous national and local organizations, including ASLA, the Atlanta Apartment Association, USGBC, and ULI.
Key Responsibilities:
- Articulate the conceptual vision for projects by ensuring that construction documents are meticulously detailed.
- Engage in project discussions with clients and consultants to facilitate coordination.
- Document and distribute meeting notes to monitor action items, subsequent steps, and responsible parties.
- Employ project management tools to ensure adherence to schedules and budgetary constraints.
- Communicate project timelines with the Studio Director to guarantee deadlines are achieved.
- Mentor junior staff to ensure they complete assigned tasks to the highest standards.
- Conduct quality assurance and quality control on projects.
- Develop planning and site designs that align with our commitment to sustainable practices.
- Execute site assessments, including evaluations of existing conditions and field measurements.
- Conceptualize across various scales and project types, from master-planned communities to urban settings, at both planning and detailed design levels.
- Ensure all tasks meet the organization’s standards.
- Prepare contract documents, including detailed drawings, sections, elevations, and schedules.
- Generate amendments, addenda, and bulletins as necessary.
- Assist in creating adaptations and technical alternatives for team review.
- Collaborate with and support junior staff in project completion.
- Utilize design application software effectively.

Qualifications:
- A professional degree in Landscape Architecture or a related discipline.
- 2-10+ years of experience in project management.
- A strong work ethic and eagerness to acquire new skills in support of a growing planning and urban design practice.
- Excellent conceptual thinking abilities with the capacity to convey ideas graphically and verbally.
- Proficiency in CAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office Suite is essential.
- Familiarity with ArcGIS, Rhino, and Lumion is advantageous.
- Strong hand-drawing and rendering skills are required.
- Proven design and technical experience at a consistently high level.
- Experience overseeing all phases of a project.
- Effective communication skills—verbal, listening, and written, including client presentation capabilities.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a desire to learn.
- A collaborative and professional work ethic.
- Ability to manage and mentor junior staff.
- Professional licensure is preferred but not mandatory.
