Position Overview:

The Retail Optimization Senior Manager plays a pivotal role in enhancing operational efficiency within our retail environment. This position is dedicated to identifying and eliminating inefficiencies in processes, thereby empowering our store teams to provide exceptional service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and analyze opportunities for store optimizations that can be implemented across the organization, developing business cases for proposed changes.
  • Lead project management initiatives, conduct ROI assessments, and perform extensive data analysis.
  • Support the management of labor models by delivering data-driven insights and conducting work studies to establish labor standards.
  • Conduct store visits to evaluate best practices, pinpoint areas for improvement, and perform time studies to enhance overall operational efficiency.
  • Foster and maintain cross-functional relationships with corporate and field partners to gather feedback and align on strategic recommendations.
  • Diagnose performance challenges in store operations and formulate actionable operational plans.
  • Establish success criteria for projects by developing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and leading cross-functional teams to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Prepare and present data-driven recommendations to executive leadership, establishing credibility through well-supported findings.

Qualifications:

  • Over 10 years of experience in retail management, particularly within organizations with diverse store formats and sizes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint, with a strong background in data analysis.
  • Experience in complex markets is preferred.
  • A passion for designing and implementing scalable operational improvements.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Experience in financial management, with a solid understanding of P&L implications.
  • Ability to prioritize initiatives based on return on investment.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Adaptability to shifting business demands and responsibilities.

Compensation and Benefits:

The annual base salary for this role ranges from $124,000 to $165,110, contingent upon various factors including qualifications, experience, and location. In addition, employees may be eligible for bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package, which includes health, dental, and vision insurance, a robust 401(k) plan, paid time off, employee discounts, life insurance, and more.
