Position Overview:

The Business Optimization team plays a crucial role in enhancing operational efficiency within our retail environment. Our mission is to streamline processes, enabling our store teams to deliver exceptional service and satisfaction to our clients. By focusing on both existing procedures and day-to-day store operations, we aim to foster world-class retail experiences and advocate for our store teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and evaluate opportunities for operational enhancements that can be implemented across the entire fleet, developing business cases for proposed initiatives, and overseeing the execution of pilot programs and full-scale rollouts.
  • Lead project management initiatives, conduct ROI assessments, and perform extensive data analysis.
  • Assist in managing labor models by providing data-driven insights and conducting analyses. Execute work studies in stores to establish and uphold labor standards.
  • Conduct store visits to identify best practices, pinpoint areas for improvement, and perform time studies aimed at boosting overall efficiency.
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with both corporate and field partners to gather feedback and align on strategic recommendations.
  • Analyze performance challenges in store operations and develop actionable operational plans.
  • Establish success metrics by creating Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), qualitative feedback mechanisms, and cost-benefit analyses, leading cross-functional teams to achieve desired outcomes in line with corporate expectations.
  • Prepare and deliver clear, data-driven presentations to executive audiences, establishing credibility through well-supported recommendations.

Qualifications:

  • Over 10 years of experience in retail management within organizations that operate extensive and diverse store networks.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, with a strong background in analyzing complex datasets. Familiarity with Smartsheets is advantageous.
  • Must reside in a complex market as defined by the company.
  • A strong commitment to designing and implementing effective and scalable operational improvements.
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of engaging with all levels of the organization, including store teams and leadership.
  • Experience in P&L management or financial oversight, with an understanding of how changes impact various financial metrics.
  • Ability to prioritize and focus on high-impact areas based on return on investment.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Adaptability to changing business demands and responsibilities.

Compensation and Benefits:

The annual base salary for this role ranges from $124,000 to $165,110. Actual salary will be determined based on various factors, including qualifications, relevant experience, and specific skills. Eligible employees may also receive bonuses.
