Position Overview:
The Laboratory Specimen Technician plays a crucial role in the receipt, verification, processing, and storage of biological specimens such as blood and urine.

This position also encompasses a variety of clerical and laboratory tasks, including inventory management, filing, stocking supplies, receiving shipments, and maintaining cleanliness within the laboratory.

Daily responsibilities involve utilizing various computer information systems.

Qualifications:
While knowledge of laboratory operations, medical terminology, and a background in science are preferred, they are not mandatory.

Experience with computers, keyboarding, telephone systems, and other office equipment is advantageous. Flexibility in scheduling, including the ability to work off-shifts, holidays, and weekends, is essential. Attention to detail and adherence to stringent safety protocols for handling chemicals, reagents, and infectious materials are required.

Full-Time
Sunday - Thursday, Day Shift
Monday - Thursday, Flexible start time between 7:30 AM - 8:30 AM, 8 hours with a 30-minute break
Sunday, Flexible start time between 7:00 AM - 8:00 AM, 8 hours with a 30-minute break
Weekend Schedule:
Every Sunday, Flexible start time between 7:00 AM - 8:00 AM, 8 hours with a 30-minute break
