Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Laboratory Technician to join our team at Bahama Consulting. As a Clinical Laboratory Technician, you will play a critical role in the diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment of patients by performing analyses on blood, tissue, and body fluids.

Key Responsibilities
  • Testing and Analysis: Perform a variety of tests and analyses on blood, tissue, and body fluids to aid healthcare providers in making informed decisions.
  • Instrument Operation and Maintenance: Operate and maintain sophisticated laboratory equipment, including automated testing instruments and manual techniques.
  • Quality Control and Assurance: Evaluate tests for accuracy, troubleshoot assays, and assist with interpreting results to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Computer Systems and Reporting: Work with multiple computer systems to retrieve information and report results to healthcare providers.
  • Specimen Collection and Handling: Assist with specimen collection and handle infectious specimens, chemicals, and other hazards with strict adherence to safety protocols.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in chemistry or a human biological science is required.
  • Experience: Must be capable of producing accurate results under time constraints, multi-tasking, and performing in a fast-paced and changing environment.
