Job Purpose:

We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual to fill the role of Business Development Executive I at TD SYNNEX. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining customer relationships, both on the vendor and customer side.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver sales results for TD SYNNEX by growing business within assigned focus customers and successfully executing entry-level sales proposals.
  • Create reports and presentations, and deliver group and management presentations at customer sites.
  • Execute against vendor initiatives and serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on assigned vendor's brand, technology solutions, and program offerings for our customers.
  • Identify and create opportunity demand for products, coordinate seminars, training, and resource awareness for assigned customers to drive growth.
  • Perform analysis and reporting results of various program impact for identified customers, communicating success, issues, and future growth plan strategies to the Account Manager.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, competitors, technology, and customers in the assigned supplier product market.
  • Build and nurture field vendor relationships.
  • Collaborate with the sales organization as a vendor SME and provide value-added solutions to drive sales growth.
Requirements:
  • >3 to 5 Years of relevant work experience.
  • This sales experience may or may not include field sales experience; as this position is TD SYNNEX's entry-level field sales position.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained.
  • Possesses thorough knowledge of solutions and assigned products in their specific Vendor brand.
  • Exhibits the ability to deliver strategic Vendor solutions and identify net-new partners for TD SYNNEX in their specific Vendor brand.
  • Possesses established valuable relationships with key Vendor contacts within the brand.
  • Able to execute instructions and to request clarification when needed.
  • Able to use common office equipment.
  • Possesses strong data entry skills.
  • Able to demonstrate complex problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making.
  • Able to recognize and attend to important details with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Able to communicate clearly and convey necessary information.
  • Able to converse and write effectively in English and other local/regional language.
  • Able to create and conduct formal presentations.
  • Able to interact effectively with higher levels of management (managers & above).
  • Able to negotiate skillfully and promote/sell ideas persuasively.
