Key Responsibilities- Interpret customer line specifications and requirements through RFPs, TDW fitting/services inquiry form, and scope documents to prepare accurate quotes.
- Process orders with accurate pricing and part numbers, ensuring timely delivery.
- Develop knowledge of TDW manufacturing and services processes to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
- Assist customers and colleagues in defining the best TDW products and services to meet their operational requirements.
- Search TDW databases to find suitable designs for customer projects.
- Develop knowledge of techTDW operational procedures, including acceptable Terms and Conditions, to ensure accurate quote preparation and order processing.
- Ensure accuracy of bill-to and ship-to addresses for customers, review orders for credit terms, and submit to TDW Credit department for approval.
- Convert quotes to sales orders in CRM, WSGP, and AX systems.
- Make price adjustments as directed and keep Outside Sales Representatives informed of customer request changes.
- Work with clients to negotiate shipping terms and methods, collaborate with Shipping and TMP Production Planning to ensure proper delivery, and provide accurate information to Engineering, Production control, and Logistics.
- Confirm with Supervisor that customer technology and service requirements have been correctly identified and commit TDW resources to ensure quality execution of service jobs and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure all correspondence and communication with customers are professional and accurate, and communicate with other departments to meet delivery requirements.
- Enlist other Sales Support Reps to identify appropriate TDW departments and contact to enable effective coordination and resolution of customer issues.
- Participate in projects assigned by Supervisor or Region Leader, and learn about all TDW products, including obsolete, current, and new product releases.
- Develop knowledge of industry design codes and market trends, including competitive advantages.
- Vocational training in business, engineering, or pipe trades discipline, or equivalent experience of 5-7 years of technical sales experience required.
- 0-2 years of experience in a related field.
