Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Laboratory Office Coordinator to join our team at Bay Area Hospital.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate day-to-day clerical activities in the Lab office and oversee tasks to ensure completion.
  • Manage office equipment and supplies, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff, and respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records and reports, and ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Stay up-to-date with changing regulations and guidelines, and participate in ongoing training and education to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • One year of experience in phlebotomy or a related field preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
